Bathing Hammie & Flix's escape!
Today the babie's Daddy cleaned up Hammie's stinky cage... FINALLY! She was starting to stink up my room, no wonder my rose died so fast lol. After that we gave her a bath. Yes! We gave Hammie a bath. I took a short video & a few pictures ( which I'm unable to post at the moment, I'm in a rush to update this because Mommy still has a lot of studying to do for her big Psych test tomorrow! ) which I'll post tomorrow, if I remember! The bath got her to start bathing again so that's a good thing! And I think she enjoyed her time out of her cage for once. She's beginning to act a bit more normal everyday, so that's great. I hope she's not still too depressed about her kids. She's still tiny & skinny... and a little weaker, but doing great so I guess I dont have too much to worry about. I'm still keeping track of her though until she seem's like her old self.
I put Flix in my mom's room earlier ( like I always do when I vaccume my room ) & I came back to grab him only to find out he broke out of the ball ( he managed to do this a few days ago but I caught him before he got too far )! All I could do was gasp, surprisingly my mom knew exactly what happened so we started searching for him & she was like "what's the hamsters name?" and I was like "Flix" and she was like "... hamster! Where did you go!" LOL! Nice one mom! But I found his fuzzy butt across the room looking around to see if Mommy caught him.
He was in a bunch of trouble when I got back from my shower. But he is back in the ball now lol. I'm not gonna be mean and leave him in his cage all night! The stand is broken so I'm guessing that makes it easier for him to break out. He actually breaks out a lot more then Hammie does, which is surprising since Hammie's a smart hamster!
I also bought a new hamster mix for Flix since he was running out of food & replaced Hammie's food since I accidently sprayed sanitizer in it... yes they both eat different kinds of food since Hammie is still apperently trying to get over wet poo she has a strict diet. I also bought them new chew toys to keep them from chewing on the cage & the potty paper cardboard roll that's meant to be a toy.
In other news, Flix needs a new cage & they both need toys because I'm startin to think they're getting a bit bored.... *sigh*.
