Hammie's bath 2.

Hammie still isnt gaining any weight & isnt very active. We cleaned their cages today, both of them. So now they're all nice & fresh. Hammie decided to make a bed... under her wheel. Now this freaks me out because I cant see her & I'm tryin to keep an eye on her in hopes she gets better & in case she gets worse. We gave her a bath today to help get rid of the poo on her butt. I dont think she liked the second bath very much, but she needed it. After that she was a bit active but Daddy noticed she walked / ran funny. And she somewhat does. Her butt bone feels like its been shattered too, or pieces are missing... her tail is always up & bent in funny positions. I guess the risks of her giving birth too old are showing. But other than that, she seems fine. Of course we're still taking her to the vet soon just to make sure she's okay.

I moved her wheel because I couldnt see her at all & she scrambled everywhere in the cage like she didnt know what to do next. Sorry Hammie baby, but Mommy needs to see you.

Flix is seriously starting to be a pro at crackin the ball open & squeezing though. I catch him every time now. Daddy is also impressed by him because everytime he hands Flix food he either eats it or puts it back in his food bowl like a good boy. Which is really a big change from when we first got him -- and him digging all his food out of this bowl & flipping over the bowl too. Flix is doing good, getting smarter & smarter too! He's tryin to get out of his cage but I just saw him break out of the ball so he's grounded for the rest of the night lol.
