Mommy & Daddy love you so very much babygirl... & we already miss you.


I tried so hard to keep her alive... she was fine when we came home from the vet today. She was up & walking... and moving & being silly... and it made me really happy... we took her home & put her in her cage & she was still walking around & trying to open her eyes... and everything was set, the heater, the towel... everything. I checked on her after my shower & I thought she was laying down because she tried herself out.... so I left her. At 10:30 I went to feed her, and I picked her up & she was moving her jaw open & close... like a fish out of water. I freaked out so I called the vet & they said not to feed her cause she might be having a hard time breathing... so I put her back in her cage after putting the food up to her mouth if she did want to eat.

So I was petting her & the heater was on cause Martin was telling me to keep her warm... I didnt want to hold her because I was scared... and at around 11PM she stopped breathing....

Babygirl, you put up a great fight. You lived one extra day & I know it was because you wanted to say goodbye to Daddy. We're not mad at you Hammie... we're happy that you were a part of our lives. You cheered us up when we were upset -- even at eachother. You were more then just some hamster, you were our baby. Thank you princess... I love you & so does Daddy & Flix. You WILL be missed but never forgotten...
