Happy Birthday Goomba!!

Today's Goomba's First Birthday!! I forgot my digi cam cause I was in such a rush.... grrr.

Went to Albertson's to look for cupcakes for Goomba's birthday. They had soda creme cakes. They had Crush, Hawaiian Punch, Sprite and Dr. Pepper they had another one but I wasnt really looking. Intersting, I might have to stop by and try one.... or two lol. They had cupcakes but no plain ones. They had ones that LOOKed plain but they had filling on the inside... you can choose from strawberry, lemon or custurd. Wow, it looked plain on the outside lol.

Went to Rayles and he ended up getting a 12 pack of just plain cupcakes with frosting and balloon candles. Went back to the house and did the birthday thing. He took two bites of his cake and walked off lol. He was more interested in the wrapper!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOOMBA!

Today's Gomba's first birthday! Our youngest is all grown up! I cant believe it's already been a YEAR since we've got him! We went to buy him gifts yesterday. Daddy got him food and Honey & Milk yogurt drops and I got him a hamster tv thingie that he can sleep in. I dont think we'll be baking him a cake today, maybe just giving him bread and some other treats. In small portions. He's still very energetic and awake. =)

I'll post pics of how his bday went later today.



Flixie on the other hand.... I can feel him starting to slow down. When he walks hand to hand he's very cautious, not like when he was a baby and he'd pretty much leap from hand to hand. He's also been sleeping a lot and he's a heavy sleeper. The sound of things moving or bags being messed with doesnt wake him up anymore, depending on how asleep he is, I can open the top part of the CritterTrail or take it completely off and he wont wake up. It sorta makes me sad he isnt as active as he use to be, but he's turning 2 soon... I love my fuzzy butt so much. I know I've been laggin on taking him to the vet, I still have to find a carrier...

Happy Birthday Roxas baby! I didnt forget about you! Mommy's still not ready to buy another Dwarf Hamster, esp from Petco. I hope you found Hammie and she's watchin you. We miss you baby. Just wish we got to get to know you... happy birthday baby. Love you.

I went to go eat breakfast and I had rice so I thought I'd go give Flix some.... he was sleeping and he didnt wake up when I took off the "petting zone" on the CritterTrail. So I poked him and he jumped and tried to bite whatever poked him... I feel bad, I didnt mean to scare him! I gave him the rice though (which btw was a big piece of rice) and he finished it in three bites!!

He was awake a lot yesterday. I havent been feeling good and I've been coughing. I hope that's not keeping him up too =(.

Ahhhh!

My computer crashed!! As in, it was stuck at the XP loading screen for what felt like forever! Good thing I figured out how to find my files in Safe Mode and I was able to rescue the pictures of Flix, if I hadnt I would had been very angry & sad! Now all the pictures are safely copied on to a CD. Whew.

Flixie is doing good, he's been sleeping a lot probably because it's been really cold lately. Man I feel like sleeping a lot! He's such a chubby head when he sleep's a lot though. I keep saying I'm going to take him to the vet & never really find time to, though I am determined to take him next week! I just have to find a carry cage for him since his cage is too big to be taking around...

He suddenly has a liking to corn and the cereal looking food. Like the red cereal looking ball's and the orange and green cereal looking bean thing's. He barely eats sunflower seeds and peanuts anymore...

The hair on his butt is turning light brown to white, kinda weird. And he scratched off his scab! It's still there, but smaller. It looks like he scratched off the bigger one. I dont see how he ended up with that, there's nothing on his cage he coulda cut himself with! How weird. Then again, he does do some weiiiird stuff on his free time lol.

Flix smell's like sweat. Like hamster sweat/oil and aspen bedding. At first I didnt like it, but now I love his smell =).

Hmm, that's all I have on him for now. I dont see Goomba often and Daddy's barely home to tell me anything new with Goomba, so yeah... poor Goomba. His bday's coming up soon though!

Digging and biting.

Whenever Flix sleeps inside the top room, sometimes he randomly starts digging and trying to bite the bottom of the cage which drives me nuts cause of the sound of his teeth scratching against the plastic. I was tryin to stop him just now, and it seems harder & harder to try & stop him. So I gave up and just decided to watch him.

When he stopped, he looked a bit confused & had to remake his bed. I'm a little worried about him because... I dont know. He does a lot of weird things. He seems to not be bothered by me vaccuming anymore since I've done it everyday since he was a baby but I cant help but think that it somehow messed him up. Maybe I'm just trippin.

He's going to the vet next week cause he has a scab on his back that went completely away and came back even bigger. My mom felt it & said it feels like a scab as well but I'm going to take him just in case.

It really does feel & look like a scab but why does it keep coming back? And it came back bigger too. Plus he had one on his leg a few weeks ago, I dont know if it's still there... I think it is... =( I wish hamsters could talk, then taking care of him would be so much easier!!

I also got him two new toys lately. One is a tube that goes up and it leads to a dome thingie and another is an external wheel. I have to get those hooked up soon, I think he's getting bored of his cage =(.

There was something else I was going to update on, I just dont remember what is =( but when I remember I'll probably just add it in.

Update!

Wow, I know it's been awhile again. Been pretty busy plus there's lots of pictures to upload which is good! But, sorta sucks cause my PC is crap right now so I cant tag them. But it's okay I guess!
